綜合寫作

Reading：有一種關(guān)于mammals cross the sea to M…(某地)的public theory。但是有serious
problems，接下來分別講三點problem。

①這種cross的行為是by
accident，因為他們被storm吹到海里，然后再float在水面上最后到達M…是偶然的;另外，如果這些mammals合伙，可以一起到達M…，但是也是偶然的;

②就算是這些mammals順著current往M…走，但是M…附近的current是向遠離M…方向流的，所以就算是mammals到達M…附近了，也是away。

③400-kilometer journey，mammals肯定撐不下去，最后死于hunger or thirst。

Listening：自然是認為theory是正確的，而reading中的是unconvincing的。

①島上有4中species，雖然cross the sea很unusual,但是happen & they could cross the
sea。

②現(xiàn)在current的方向是away，但是millions of years ago并不一定是，而且根據(jù)computer
model推斷，與文章中所說的恰恰相反。
③mammals可以slow down their

metabolism(新陳代謝，這個考試的時候聽懂了，但是不會寫，大家如果覺得有必要可以提前背一下這個單詞)。這種方式叫做torpor，這樣mammals do
not need to eat，so they would survive。
