托福口語 Task 1-2 是獨立口語任務(wù)，要求學(xué)生在15 秒鐘準(zhǔn)備后，就某個相關(guān)的話題侃侃而談 45 秒鐘。其中 Task 1 的主題是 Personal Preference，問題主要涉及與考生相關(guān)的人物、場所、時間以及活動等；Task 2 主題為 Personal Choice，要求學(xué)生從兩種對立的情況中選擇一種，表明自己對于該話題的態(tài)度并給出恰當(dāng)?shù)睦碛?。所以，做獨立口語的題目，就仿佛都是在“談個人生活”和“做人生抉擇”。

Describe a person that you admire. Explain why you admire this person. Include details and examples to support your response.

Task 2

Some people believe that television has had a positive influence on society. Others believe it has had a negative influence on society. Which do you agree with and why? Use details and examples to explain your opinion.

筆者在教學(xué)中發(fā)現(xiàn)，大部分學(xué)生在回答獨立口語任務(wù)問題時，都會習(xí)慣性的在最后來一句話結(jié)尾，感覺這樣就“圓滿”了。有結(jié)尾，固然是好，但是如果大家都清一色的“異口同聲”，考官估計也不會“感冒”，這就對分?jǐn)?shù)提檔沒有幫助。

以上述兩題為例，大部分考生的結(jié)尾會是：

Task 1 ：

'So that's why I admire him/her so much.'

Task 2：

'That's why I think television has a negative / positive influence on society.'

所以，對此，筆者總結(jié)出此處學(xué)生的 技能障礙 主要是： 考生在獨立口語中無法巧妙地結(jié)尾，導(dǎo)致無法有效的向評分人“秀”出自己的英文水平。 首先，不可否認(rèn)，答案的內(nèi)容，尤其是理由和細(xì)節(jié)部分是核心的得分點，也是學(xué)生應(yīng)該孜孜不倦練習(xí)的重點。但是如果你已經(jīng)習(xí)慣性的、得了強(qiáng)迫癥般的想在最后來個結(jié)尾，為何不借此機(jī)會向評分人好好“秀一下”你的英文呢？！

在教學(xué)中，筆者總結(jié)出以下兩劑良方——兩種主要方法，可以有效攻克以上的技能障礙，給你的答案來一個“圓滿”的結(jié)局：

參考句型1：If…did/were( 或者否定式 )…, …would/wouldn't + 動詞原形…

中文釋義：如果…做了 / 是…, …就會 / 就不 會…

參考句型2：Without + 你所談及的對象或者 與對象相關(guān)的內(nèi)容，…would/wouldn't….

中文釋義：如果沒有…, …就會 / 就不會…

實例示范1：

參考上文 Task 1 題目，假設(shè)你談的是某位籃球巨星

結(jié)尾與其說：So that's why I admire him/her so much.

還 不 如 說：If he didn't insist in what he loves, he would not be one of the most phenomenal players in the NBA.

或 者 ：Without his passion for basketball, he would not be one of the most outstanding players in the NBA.

實例示范2：參考上文 Task 2 題目，假設(shè)你認(rèn)同電 視對社會有積極的影響

比 較 加 分 的 結(jié) 尾 可 以 是： Without television, we would not be able to gain so much important information.

或者 ：If there were not television in our daily lives, we would not be able to gain so much useful information.

參考句型：

It's__________ that ____________.

（如果 強(qiáng)調(diào)人，that可以換成who）

中文釋義：

正是___________, _______________。

橫線處的內(nèi)容十分靈活，主要依照你的意思去變換。

例如：

It's my elder brother that/who always helps me out and cheers me up.

正是我哥哥，一直在幫助我，鼓舞我。

It's only in summer that I am able to enjoy lots of activities like fishing, swimming and my favorite —— surfing.

（注意：此句中 in 一定不能?。?/span>

正是在夏季，我才能夠享受眾多活動，例如釣魚、 游泳以及我最喜歡的——沖浪。

It's with my elder brother's guidance that I was able to overcome this difficulty.
