一,答題規(guī)則和題型的熟悉
新托??荚囋陬}型方面做了全面的改革。以閱讀為例,從答題操作方式來看就有點(diǎn)擊選擇、點(diǎn)擊插入句子、或鼠標(biāo)拖拽匹配分類等,從考點(diǎn)來看又有考察單詞理解、句子理解和篇章結(jié)構(gòu)理解等,每套閱讀考題,各種題型都會交替出現(xiàn)。再比如新托??荚嚨目谡Z部分,一共有6道考題,其中兩道是“Independent Task”,四道是“Integrated Task”,在這四道“Integrated Task”中,又有兩道是要求考生先聽再說,而另兩道則是要求考生先讀再聽再說。
再從答題時(shí)間方面看,新托福考試也有著嚴(yán)格的規(guī)定,例如寫作部分的“integrated task”,考生有3分鐘時(shí)間先讀一段文字,然后有大約2分鐘聽一段話,然后有20分鐘時(shí)間寫一篇文章??谡Z部分的每一道題目都有時(shí)間限制,準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間從15秒到30秒不等,答題時(shí)間從45秒到60秒不等。
考生一定要在考前對新托??荚嚨目碱}和答題規(guī)則非常熟悉,平時(shí)就按照考試要求的時(shí)間規(guī)定去練習(xí),這樣在真實(shí)的考場上,才能把握好節(jié)奏,分配好時(shí)間,避免閱讀來不及做,口語“搶說”,或者寫作寫不完等情況。
二,口語和寫作的個(gè)性化指導(dǎo)
新托福的主觀題部分(口語和寫作)占總分值的一半,中國考生比較害怕的正是主觀題,主要問題是平時(shí)的鍛煉太少。口語基本沒機(jī)會說,所以一旦開口,總是非常緊張。寫作也是,平時(shí)做四六級詞匯或語法題的時(shí)候能做全對,一旦要自由創(chuàng)作,通篇都是語法錯(cuò)誤,慘不忍睹。那么如何在短期內(nèi)在這兩方面有所突破呢?
一個(gè)行之有效的方法就是進(jìn)行口語和寫作的個(gè)性化指導(dǎo)。在一些小班化的新托福課堂中,教師可以和每一個(gè)學(xué)生進(jìn)行一對一的口語對話,然后提出問題所在并給出針對性的建議。寫作課上,老師也會布置作業(yè),然后在課后為學(xué)生批改??忌欢ㄒ盐兆∵@樣的機(jī)會,積極操練,并且一定要把自己常見的錯(cuò)誤,進(jìn)行定期的整理總結(jié),在考試時(shí)盡量避免犯同樣的錯(cuò)誤,這就是一種進(jìn)步,這種進(jìn)步比自己漫無目的的看語法書或到外語角去練習(xí)口語要有效的多。
三,聽力和閱讀高頻詞匯的積累
單詞量對于任何外語考試都非常重要,在新托福考試中,考試形式雖然發(fā)生了一定的變化,但是對詞匯量的要求卻沒有減少。很多考生會選擇在備考的第一天買一本厚厚的單詞書,定好計(jì)劃,然后從A背到Z。但據(jù)筆者的經(jīng)驗(yàn),大多數(shù)考生堅(jiān)持不到一個(gè)月就放棄了,效果也不是很理想。
其實(shí)詞匯的記憶真的沒有什么捷徑,反復(fù)記憶和及時(shí)鞏固仍然是背單詞的關(guān)鍵。但如果備考的時(shí)間有限,平時(shí)又實(shí)在是沒有太多的精力來每天背一百個(gè)單詞再復(fù)習(xí)兩百個(gè),那么朗閣海外考試研究中心的老師建議還是選擇一些重要的詞匯在考前進(jìn)行重點(diǎn)突擊。南京托福培訓(xùn)
對于這些詞匯,考生應(yīng)該分類記憶,并且一定要結(jié)合到所屬的場景和學(xué)科中聯(lián)想記憶。這種記憶方式的關(guān)鍵是必須對新托福聽力和閱讀考題有大量的研究,從而統(tǒng)計(jì)出各類場景和學(xué)科的聽力或閱讀材料中出現(xiàn)的高頻詞匯,再分類整理分類記憶。一些有經(jīng)驗(yàn)的老師會為學(xué)生做這項(xiàng)工作,還會通過場景竄講的方式把這些詞匯有機(jī)的聯(lián)系在一起,方便學(xué)生記憶。
四,上機(jī)模擬操練
