1、there be 句型誤用

There are a great many parents require their children to learning music and art since they are at the age of five.

There are a large number of students spend more than ten hours a day on learning English in CAU.

There be 句型是我們?cè)趯懽髦薪?jīng)常用的一種句型，可惜這種巨型很多考生并不能真正掌握。在there be后面如果要加動(dòng)詞，千萬不要出現(xiàn)例句所犯的錯(cuò)誤，要時(shí)刻記得be動(dòng)詞后面應(yīng)該加的是ing形式。

2、用詞不當(dāng)

學(xué)生們?cè)谕懈懽髦谢蚨嗷蛏俣紩?huì)有一些用詞不當(dāng)?shù)膯栴}，但是要注意的是一些較較基本的錯(cuò)誤是不能犯的。

In the show，if participators answer twenty problems that the host mentioned correctly，they will get five hundreds thousand U。S。 dollars as a prize。

problems應(yīng)改為questions

3、名詞單復(fù)數(shù)錯(cuò)誤

A great many student would benefit from the investment on improving school.

Few parent would like to permit their child to make any mistake.

Environmental problem are beyond the ability of individual.

上面這三句話中，都出現(xiàn)了共同的錯(cuò)誤，就是本來應(yīng)該是復(fù)數(shù)的名詞卻寫成了單數(shù)形式。

4、主謂不一致錯(cuò)誤

A quantity of people concerns about how to solve the severe problem of air contamination.

Restricted by methods, students has to be influenced by their teachers, even though the teachers are not outstanding.

新托福寫作不同于漢語，漢語中的謂語動(dòng)詞是不會(huì)有任何變化的。比如我說一個(gè)人在吃飯和一萬個(gè)人在吃飯，吃就是吃，不會(huì)有吃s和吃之分?？墒窃谟⒄Z中，謂語動(dòng)詞要根據(jù)主語的單復(fù)數(shù)情況進(jìn)行變化。在上面的兩個(gè)例句中，主語都是復(fù)數(shù)，而謂語動(dòng)詞卻選擇了單三形式，顯然是不正確的。

5、時(shí)態(tài)錯(cuò)誤

In the past, the major way for young people to learn knowledge is attending classes.

When I study in college, I have no choice but to spend more than 10 hours a day on academic study.

托福寫作中除了主謂一致之外，英語另一個(gè)我們漢語不具有的特點(diǎn)就是時(shí)態(tài)問題。過去時(shí)，過去完成時(shí)，一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)，將來時(shí)，正在進(jìn)行時(shí)。各種各樣的時(shí)態(tài)也是我們要數(shù)量掌握的。在上面的例句中，所犯錯(cuò)誤即為將過去時(shí)的動(dòng)詞寫成了一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)。

6、拼寫錯(cuò)誤

還請(qǐng)備戰(zhàn)托?？荚嚨耐瑢W(xué)們注意，這里的拼寫錯(cuò)誤不是指在考試時(shí)候的誤打，而是本身對(duì)詞匯拼寫記憶的錯(cuò)誤。

In conclusion，issue of whether parents are the best teachers is a complex one，requiring subjective judgement，consequently，there are no easy or certain answers。

judgement應(yīng)改為judgment

7、亂用大詞
First of all, children can earn money from their jobs, although there isn’t too much, but they will keep their salary gingerliness.
這里的gingerliness根本是不知所云。該句子還有以下問題：
1)該作文題目是講學(xué)生是否應(yīng)該做兼職，因此children的出現(xiàn)就顯得很莫名其妙;
2)although和but是不能連用的;
3)指代不明，they不知道是指代前面的什么;
8、表達(dá)中式
The second argument-it might have been noticed by others-is that in some occasion, it is quite difficult to compare parents to teachers because parents are a kind of people, teachers are a kind of vocation.
該句的表達(dá)過于中式化。
9、表意重復(fù)
They shocked their friends, devastated their families, crushed their best friends.
前面已經(jīng)提到了朋友，后面又提到朋友。
The show is so compelling but attractive.
compelling和attractive是同義詞，所以這里這么寫就讓人不明白。
10、固定用法錯(cuò)誤
To some extends, I agree with the author’s general assertion that if parents also have a comprehensive sense of professional knowledge.
To some extends應(yīng)改為To some extent
11、例證夸張
For example, when a doctor faces a patient who has got cancer, the doctor cannot tell the truth, for the truth may cause the patient’s immediate death.
雖然善意的謊言是必要的，但是其功效顯然沒有這么大。
12、成分多余
According to a comprehensive investigation which is carried out by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences shows that there is an increase in the number of university students who are taking part-time jobs.
該句中的shows that是多余的成分。
13、詞性誤用

No one can negative the importance of money.

Family members play significance role in our journey s of success.
